MyTime
A native time-tracking app I'm building in SwiftUI for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch, with hand-drawn task icons and Siri to start and stop timers by voice.
Overview
MyTime is a time-tracking app for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch that I’m building right now. The idea came from aTimeLogger: I like what it does, but I wanted something that feels like it belongs on the latest iOS.
You create tasks, start a timer when you begin one, and see where your time actually went. When you create a task, you can draw your own icon for it or pick one of the built-in symbols.
What I built
I’m building it in SwiftUI with an MVVM architecture, so the views stay simple and the app is easy to keep changing as it grows. The design goal is for every screen to feel native, on the phone, the iPad and the watch.
The feature I’m most excited about is Siri. I want to be able to say things like “I started working on my lab an hour ago” or “I just finished working on the lab” and have the right timer start or stop, with the right time.
MyTime is still in development, so there’s no public code or download yet. Screenshots will go here once the first version is ready.
